Would you recommend Hartz Flea Products?
Hartz Flea Products
I have not used this brand since an episode of flea's in 2010.
Not knowing anything about the brand, I was given a bottle of flea powder along with a kitten I received.
I followed the instructions carefully on the bottle and found it really didn't work us.
I ended up using a topical flea product (Revolution) instead, on both of my cats.

Re: Hartz Flea Products
I heard too many horror stories about animals having seizures (or dying), and saw too many pictures or dogs/cats with burns caused by over the counter (usually Hartz) flea products. I would never use, or recommend them based on that knowledge.
Re: Hartz Flea Products
I can't count the amount of cats I've seen die from these products. Hartz and Zodiac are the two main offenders in this area. It's a horrific death at that. While I've never seen a dog DIE, I've seen numerous dogs come in with chemical burns. This stuff shouldn't be so readily available. People will just take a risk to avoid the vet but in the long run it isn't worth it.
